Author's POV:

Summer holidays passed by in a flash. The girls went on family outings, shopping, spa, movies and trips.

As promised Akshath visited Sanjana 8 times in one month. He used to visit her every 3 days. It was the most insane thing he has ever done for anyone in his life. He even used his private jet when there were no last minute bookings available.

The girls packed their stuff again and were already at the airport bidding good bye to their families as their second year of college is going to start in a day. They boarded the flight and soon landed in the Delhi where Aksh was already waiting for them.

Sanjana rushed to Akshath once she saw him leaning against the car and waiting for her. "Umm, fuck I missed you", said Akshath kissing her.

Akshath dropped them at the dorms and left for office. He spent his whole summer holidays either travelling or working. He used to spend his holidays working on projects, gaming, softwares and he used to fly to Mumbai to meet her whenever he felt like it.

Girls sorted out their dorm and by the end of the day, they were exhausted. They soon slept away after dinner.

(First day of second year)

"Can you believe that we are actually seniors now, yohoooo", exclaimed Tara squealing with excitement.

"Yeah, 1 year passed away in a flash", agreed Sam and Sanjana. Piggy was in her own world as she did not like waking up early for college.

Even though their classes starts at 8:30 this year, they went 30 minutes late as there would not be anything going on except introduction.

The boys did not attend the college considering it's the first day and nothing much would be taught.

All of them have separate blocks now based on their courses. Their subjects were also different expect maths -2 and some programming language. They only have combined classes for those two subjects in the auditorium. They all went in separate ways promising to meet at the cafeteria by lunch time.

Sanjana's ECE block is just beside the freshman block. Hence she doesn't have to worry much to search for her classes. As she was crossing the freshman block, she was suddenly dashed into someone making her almost loose her balance and fall on her face.

The person stabilized her by wrapping his arms around her body. Then she saw a guy probably the same height as Akshath looking handsome and dashing as ever. But not more than Akshath.

The guy was mesmerized by Sanjana's beauty. Wow, she looks like an angle and so soft!!! That person thought for himself.

Sanjana immediately separated herself from that guy who was staring at her. "Hi, I am Kunal. I am a first year student. Sorry about that, I was checking my timetable and didn't see you there", he said scratching his neck.

"Oh that's alright. Welcome to the campus. I am Sanjana nice to meet you", she introduced herself. Even her voice is beautiful, damnnnnn!! Kunal thought still staring at her.

"Ahh the pleasure is all mine. I am actually from ECE branch engineering", said Kunal filing more information.

"Oh am in second year of ECE by the way. If you need any help please let me know. Bye", said Sanjana and left for her class hurriedly leaving the starstruck Kunal.

Kunal saw an earring and an envelope lying on the ground. He took her earring smiling at it and stored it in his pocket as her memory. He doesn't want to give the earring back to her. He wanted a chance to talk to her again and got it now due to the envelope lying on the ground. He quickly took the envelope thanking his stars for his luck today.

Kunal is actually from a good and slightly upper middle class family. His father runs a medium size electrical shop in Jharkhand and mother is a high school teacher there. He has a little sister who is just in her fifth standard and a grandma who lives with them.

His current accommodation is college dorm. He is a good looking guy but not a player. He actually liked Sanjana a lot in first glance and did not understand why he was instantly attracted to her. He smiled for himself looking at his hands that touched her and ruffled his hair blushing and went to his class.

"How many days do you still want? You already know whom Akshath love. Why can't you just try and separate them?", came a male voice questioning Trisha.

"If I do that, I will be in the spotlight. We can't directly get involved in this. There should be a pawn in this game so we could protect ourselves from suspicion", clarified Trisha to the person beside her.

"Bahut beizzati kiya hai Akshath ne uss ladki ke liye. Mujhe uss ladki har haal mein chahiye", came the male voice once again.

(Akshath dishonored me due to that girl. I want that girl by hook or by crook)

"Mujhe Bali ka bakra milgaya. Ussi ka inthazaar tha ab thak. Abh puri khel badal dungi. Ithna gham pahuchavungi ki log dekhte reh jayenge. Ab tak Trisha ka ek hi roop dekh liya. Khel tho ab shuru hoga jab me dusre roop dekhadungi. Bhagvaan bhi rouk nahi payega jo inlogon ke saath hone wala hai", Trisha said with a sadistic and menacing look on her face.

(I have waited till now for the scapegoat. And now I got my scapegoat. The whole game would be twisted now. A huge blow will be landing on them pretty soon and they would just stand their and watch it. Till now, I just showed one side of my personality but the game starts now, when I will show my hidden personality. Even god wouldn't be able to stop what I am going to do to them)

Trisha and the other male started laughing sealing the fates of Sanjana and Akshath.

After classes, Sanjana and her friends went to the cafeteria for lunch. As they were talking and eating, Piggy noticed that Sanjana has only one earring. "Sanju, where is your other earring?", Piggy questioned making Sanjana check her both ears. "Ohh god, have I lost them? They were pretty loose when I wore it. Those are Akshath's favorite pair", she panicked searching for her earring around her table.

"Heyyy, relax. It happens sanju. He will buy you another pair don't worry. Chill", Piggy consoled the anxious Sanjana.

As Sanjana was still searching for her earring, she felt a presence behind her back. When she turned, it was the same guy from earlier.

"Hii Sanjana, we meet again", Kunal said enthusiastically looking at her doe eyes.

"Umm yeah, hello again", she said feeling nervous. Her friends were staring at her silently asking who he was. She signalled them that she would tell them later.

"I actually saw an envelope lying on the ground when you left. So I thought to bring it to you", he said giving her the envelope.

It was the envelope of her canceling her side course, art. She thought she could manage both courses but she wasn't able to, as engineering occupied a lot of time due to its complexity, assignments and deadlines.

"Oh thank you for that, by any chance have you seen any earring on the ground as well?", she asked softly.

Kunal doesn't want to return her earring as he wanted to keep that to himself as her reminder. He doesn't know if he could get any other personal item from her again. So he lied and said he didn't notice anything.

"Can I join you for lunch? I actually did not make any friends yet except you",  Kunal asked slightly cringing at his own lies. He is a social butterfly and he is already friends with half of his classmates.

"Umm, yeah sure. Please take a seat", Sanjana replied in an unsure tone. She doesn't want him to sit with them everyday as Akshath will be coming to college from tomorrow. If he see this guy again tomorrow, he would flip and physically harm him, she thought to herself. But Sanjana didn't have it in her to reject this new guy as she felt pity that he doesn't have any friends. She could totally relate to him as she felt the same way when she was separated from her friends during the initial classes in her first year.

Soon, Tara, Piggy and Sam introduced themselves and Kunal already narrated the story of how he and Sanjana met and started talking to them and laughed with them.

The girls instantly liked him as he has a great sense of humor. He is respectful, good looking and well mannered which impressed them.

"Okay then, I will leave for my class now, bye girls and bye Sanjana", he said giving her an overall look imprinting her image in his brain.

"Wow, he is a good one", said Tara and all of then agreed except Sanjana.

"Sanju, don't think too much about the earring. Aksh will buy you a new one okay", they said cheering her up.

"What if he come again to sit with us tomorrow? Aksh will not like it one bit", she said chewing her lip.

"Come on babe, Aksh cannot rule your entire life. He cannot decide who you want to be friends with and who you don't. Its your life and your choice matters the most. If Akshath can't bear it, he can suck it up. Besides Kunal seems like a good guy and you know our girl gut instincts will easily distinguish who is creepy and who isn't", said Tara boosting Sanjana's confidence and every one agreed

"Now take that gloomy look off your face and cheer up", her friends said and she smiled.

After class, they went to dorm and eventually had dinner and slept.

Is it gonna be a new beginning of a relationship or a new ending of a previous relationship?
